VENETIAN was a hidden treasure for many years. He is the only son of VERSACE out of a *BASK++ daughter at public stud, and his dam is one of *BASK++’s best daughters, with 59% of her registered foals champions including 3 National winners and 2 sires of National winners. VENETIAN’s sire, the now deceased VERSACE, is one of the breed’s most significant stallions in the recent past, siring multiple National Champions in halter, western pleasure and hunter pleasure. VENETIAN is closely related to U.S. Reserve National Champion Western Pleasure Futurity and Top Ten Western Pleasure Junior Horse JUST JOE, who is also by VERSACE and out of a daughter of BASK EL AMIGO, a full brother to VENETIAN’s dam.
